Dental Assistants are an integral member of our team and help foster our clinically led culture. Work-Life Balance: (Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-5:00PM, some Fridays 7:40AM-1:00PM, Travel between Smile North Muskegon & Smile Grand Haven locations)

Requirements

• Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
• X-ray certification where state regulations specify

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
