About The Position

Monarch Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join their team. This role offers a dynamic split schedule, working 3 days per week in their Pine Bluff office and 2 days per week in their North Little Rock location. Smile Brands supports over 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states, all focused on a single mission of delivering Smiles For Everyone!® for patients, providers, employees, and community partners. Requirements

  • Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
  • Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Support office flow to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience
