Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Previous dental assisting experience.
Dental Assistant certification(s).
Nitrous Oxide certification.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Experience with electronic dental records.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care.
Take and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and dental information.
Expose and process dental radiographs (as permitted by certification and state regulations).
Provide patient education regarding oral health, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols.
Ensure operatories are stocked, organized, and ready for patient care.
Assist with scheduling, charting, and documentation as needed.
Support team members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Deliver excellent customer service while creating a positive patient experience.
