Winston-Salem Dental Specialists is looking for a Multi-Specialty Dental Assistant to join our team. We built our reputation on exceptional care and treating every team member with the same respect we give our patients. Experience with Endo and Perio is strongly preferred!
Requirements
- Dental assisting experience required.
- Current NC X-ray certification or ability to obtain
- CPR/BLS certification
- Comfortable with digital radiography and CBCT imaging
- Calm, patient-focused demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate the doctor's needs
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Endo and Perio
Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting during root canals, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other endodontic procedures
- Set up and break down operatories with endo-specific instruments and materials
- Take and process digital radiographs and CBCT scans
- Assist with the dental microscope and ultrasonic units
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Provide patient comfort and education, especially for anxious patients
- Assist with sedation monitoring as needed
- Maintain patient records and coordinate with referring offices
