Requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Excellent organization/ /computer skills
- Proven experience as a dental assistant for a minimum of 6 months
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- CPR
Nice To Haves
- Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
- X-ray certification
- Coronal Polishing certification (perform regulated non-surgical tasks)
- 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
- Additional certification
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients to the dental office.
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort.
- Chair-side assisting
- Restorative Dentistry: Place, shape, and finish amalgam and composite restorations.
- Prosthodontics: Place temporary crowns and bridges.
- Infection Control: Sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Radiology: Take and process dental X-rays.
- Patient Education: Provide valuable information to our patients.
