Dental Assistant - Rochelle Hackley DDS
About The Position
Rochelle E. Hackley DDS Dental Spa is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant for its patient-focused practice in Rockville, Maryland. The practice has seven modern operatories and a close-knit team that emphasizes compassion, clear communication, collaboration, and a caring, spa-like environment. The Dental Assistant will help ensure patients receive a comfortable, seamless, and high-quality experience while supporting the dentist and the practice’s daily operations. The schedule is Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. There are no Friday or weekend hours. Compensation is $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. A standard ADC benefits package is offered.
Requirements
- X-ray certification is required.
- Strong attention to detail.

- Willingness and eagerness to learn orthodontics; training will be provided.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
- Prior orthodontic experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support and chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures.
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment and help them feel relaxed and cared for.
- Take and process dental X-rays.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment rooms.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.
- Support overall office flow and communicate with patients to promote comfort throughout their visits.
