About The Position

Diamond Braces is hiring a full-time, on-site Dental Assistant to support orthodontists and provide an exceptional patient experience. No Dental Assistant license is required; paid training and clinical development are provided. The role suits dependable, motivated people who are eager to learn and interested in building a career in orthodontics. Some evenings and Saturdays are scheduled, and local travel between nearby offices may be required.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 months of experience in a dental office or healthcare setting.
• Orthodontic experience.
• Experience with digital scanners.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient treatment.
• Prepare treatment rooms and orthodontic instruments.
• Sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control standards.
• Take digital X-rays, intraoral scans, photographs, and impressions.
• Enter accurate clinical notes into patient records.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care.
• Fabricate Essix retainers and assist with basic laboratory duties.
• Prepare and track laboratory cases.
• Keep operatories clean, organized, and patient-ready.
