About The Position

Bayshore Dental Center is seeking a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant with at least three years of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a versatile, motivated professional who is comfortable working chairside while also being willing to support the front office as needed. The ideal candidate values efficiency, teamwork, and delivering a positive patient experience, whether assisting clinically or helping with front-office responsibilities.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience required
Ability to work front office when needed
Open Dental experience required
X-ray certification (or ability to obtain per state requirements)
Current CPR/BLS certification required

Nice To Haves

EFDA certification preferred (if applicable)
Strong clinical and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols
Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images
Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care
Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization
Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication
