About The Position
Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our Ohio team at the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, OH. This position offers a rewarding, low-stress alternative to private practice dentistry with excellent work/life balance. The role involves administrative and routine chairside duties, with a focus on administrative tasks for which training will be provided. This is an opportunity to give back by treating an underserved population with a grateful patient base.
Requirements
- Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
- Active Ohio Dental Radiographer license
- 1 year experience strongly preferred
- Certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred
Responsibilities
- Administrative duties
- Routine chairside duties including preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care
- Limited endodontic care
- No orthodontic or crown & bridge required
