About The Position

We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant professional to work closely with our Dentist at Mission Viejo Dental Associates. Requirements

CPR or BLS certification
Registered Dental Assistant certification
General or oral surgery experience
Must have GP RDA/OSA exp

Responsibilities

Assist the oral surgeon during procedures such as wisdom tooth extractions, dental implant placements, bone grafting, extractions, and other oral surgical procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment.
Maintain sterile field and infection control protocols.
Review patient medical histories and update records.
Obtain vital signs and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
Take and process digital radiographs (X-rays) and CBCT scans as permitted by certification.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients.
Prepare and administer nitrous oxide and assist with IV sedation procedures as permitted by training and office protocols.
Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of instruments and equipment.
Document treatment notes and update electronic health records.
Manage inventory and order clinical supplies as needed.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and California Dental Board regulations.
Respond to patient questions and provide excellent customer service.
