About The Position

Leap Kids Dental is seeking a talented and self-motivated Dental Assistant to join their team. This role impacts lives by creating smiles for a lifetime. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist with patients to ensure the highest quality of care is provided, performing clinical and technical procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist. Responsibilities include preparing the patient operatory and equipment, and assisting the doctor during examinations and treatments.

Requirements

Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant or a Certified Dental Assistant
CPR required.
Trained by an Accredited Dental Assistant School

Responsibilities

Communicate clearly and calmly the treatment needs to the parent and patient utilizing the prescribed treatment plan.
Recognize and identify prior authorization requirements, along with ensuring signed consent forms.
Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients.
Provide clear and concise documentation of all treatment rendered using electronic and paper dental records and forms.
Perform general housekeeping and restocking as needed.
Serve and provide superior support to doctors.
Be an example of respect and caring for customers and office personnel.
