We are looking for an excellent Dental Assistant to join our practice! This is a full-time position in a fun, rapidly growing pediatric dental office. Requirements
- Dental Assistant schooling or office experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Review patients' medical history and take blood pressure and pulse.
- Provide pre/post-op instructions for oral care after surgery or dental treatments.
- Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
- Take impressions of teeth for study casts.
- Complete pre-op/post-op x-rays for necessary insurance purposes.
- Chart and enter treatments into Dentrix Ascend software.
