About The Position
Marc Dandois DDS is now hiring a Dental Assistant in Carrollton, TX! This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday - Thursday 6:45 am - 4:00 pm. The practice emphasizes a patient-centric community approach and offers opportunities for career growth and professional development.
Requirements
- Active Texas dental assistant license
- Dental Assistant training/school certification
- 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Experience with digital software
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentists chairside
- Welcomes patients
- Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
- Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
- Instrument sterilization according to regulations
- Maintains accurate patient records
- Lab tasks as instructed
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain clean and stocked operatories
