About The Position
Perform basic chair side assisting duties, instrument and equipment maintenance, radiographic proficiency and dental supply inventory.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Graduation for a Dental Assistant Program required
- Maryland Dental Radiation Technology Certificate required
- Certification in Basic Dental Assisting required
- Two years minimum experience required
Nice To Haves
- Expanded Functional Certificate preferred
Responsibilities
- Chair side Assisting Duties
- Greets and seats patients
- Prepares room for treatment
- Assists Dentists
- Cleans room after treatment to prepare for next patient
- Take any appropriate radiograph as requested.
- Keeps instruments cleaned and maintained
- Keep dental supplies correct and on hand
- Maintain stock of dental supplies
- Keeps maintenance log
- Maintain up to date record of supply ordering
- Perform other duties as assigned
