About The Position

Rockville Centre for Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant to join their dedicated team. The practice is known for providing excellent dental care with modern technology and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a superior chairside manner and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure positive patient experiences.

Requirements

Minimum two (2) years chairside dental assisting experience.
Strong computer skills required as the office is paperless and digital (clinical notes, intraoral scanning, periocharting).
Proficiency with Dentrix Practice Management Software.
Experience with DEXIS Digital Imaging and DTX Studio 3D/CBCT Imaging.
Ability to take traditional impressions.
Willingness to be part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with iTero Scanner & Trios Scanner.
Familiarity with performing ZOOM Teeth Whitening procedures.
Familiarity with perio, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, implant placement, neuromodulators/dermal fillers and sedation dentistry in addition to general/cosmetic/family dentistry.
Ability to fabricate night guards/whitening trays using a suck down unit and tools.
Familiarity with administration/front desk.

Assist with general, cosmetic, and family dentistry.
Be part of a team.
