Requirements

Dental assisting experience preferred
Washington Dental Assistant Registration required
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Comfortable taking dental x-rays
Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures
Strong chairside assisting skills
Friendly and professional with patients
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in a busy dental practice
Willing to jump in and help the team when needed
Dependable, enjoys working with people, and wants to be part of a strong dental team

Nice To Haves

CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare and break down treatment rooms
Take dental x-rays and intraoral photos
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards
Keep operatories stocked, clean, and organized
Support patients before, during, and after treatment
Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Complete dental charting and clinical documentation
Perform basic lab duties as needed
Work closely with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front office team members
Help keep the clinical day running smoothly and on schedule
