About The Position
The dental assistant supports dental providers in delivering efficient and quality oral healthcare services. This position plays a key role in ensuring a positive patient experience while maintaining compliance with standards.
Requirements
- CDA Certificate and Radiographer License
- Dental School Certificate
- Coronal Polishing Certificate (if applicable)
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
- Prepare rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and emergency treatments.
- Take dental radiographs and document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
- Provide patient education on dental hygiene, treatment plans, and post procedure care.
- Ensure all dental instruments are ready and sterile for each procedure.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline workflows.
- Uphold One Health Ohio’s core values and policies.
- Communicate openly with supervisors and colleagues.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude in all interactions.
- Exhibit flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing tasks.
