Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care activities as directed by a dentist, including preparation of charts, equipment, and x-rays, and take appropriate x-rays as needed.
• Facilitate patient flow, manage appointments, and maintain an organized work area to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow infection control procedures for sterilization and equipment handling and report any safety or equipment issues.
• Interact professional with patients of all ages, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Update supply inventory, navigate dental software, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Adhere to departmental policies, participate in required activities, and demonstrate teamwork and self-direction in problem-solving.
