As our dedicated Dental Assistant, you'll work alongside 2 Doctors, 2 Hygienists, 2 Front Desk Specialists, 1 Sterilization Tech, and a supportive clinical team where every voice matters. As our Dental Assistant, you will be the heart of our chairside clinical care-ensuring efficient treatment workflows and providing a comfortable, reassuring experience for our patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Current Dental Assistant Registration/Certification.
- Active Arizona X-Ray / Radiography Certification.
- Active CPR / BLS Certification.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, clinical instruments, digital radiography, intraoral scanning, and OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
- An eager, motivated, and fast learner with a warm, empathetic patient manner.
- Dependable, punctual, and excited to be a true team player!
Responsibilities
- Assist doctors during exams, restorative fillings, crowns, extractions, and specialty procedures.
- Perform digital 3D scans for crowns, bridges, partials, and dentures.
- Capture high-quality dental X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize and disinfect instruments, and strictly maintain OSHA and infection-control standards.
- Warmly greet patients, update medical histories, guide them through treatment plans, and provide clear pre- and post-op care instructions.
- Record accurate treatment notes and billing codes in our practice management software, monitor inventory, order supplies, and assist the front desk with phone calls or check-ins when needed.
