Requirements

  • Compassionate, strong attention to detail, warm demeanor, and a love for working with others
  • A team player who’s ready to jump in, help, and make patients feel at ease
  • Dental Assisting Certification FL from an accredited school
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • X-ray Certification (or ability to obtain promptly)

Nice To Haves

  • Coronal polishing and Nitrous Oxide certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic chair-side support to our Dentist and Hygienists, including charting and patient education
  • Ensure smooth patient flow and maintain a welcoming, efficient operatory
  • Take and process X-rays
  • Maintain accurate records and treatment plans per Dentist’s instructions
  • Keep operatories and equipment clean and sterilized
  • Track and prepare lab cases in advance of daily schedules
  • Keep the process moving
  • Enter treatment plans, present simple treatment plans to patient, writing doctor’s notes into the patient’s chart, collect chairside payments
