About The Position

The Airway Dentists in Spring is opening in August 2026 and is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant. The Airway Dentists' mission is to provide exceptional dental care and rid the world of sleep disordered breathing. With multiple locations, they offer orthodontic, sleep apnea, and general dentistry services. The clinical team is led by co-founders Dr. Kyle Hale, Dr. Kalli Hale, and Dr. Matt Hicks. Requirements

• State License and CPR certification required
• Knowledge of dental instruments and medical equipment
• Proficient in taking accurate dental radiographs
• Outstanding organizational, communication, and patient service skills
• Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of situations and people
• Exhibits confidence and enthusiasm for new challenges
• Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new dental technologies and techniques

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant
• Invisalign experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of back office duties and systems
• Taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs
• Assisting the dentist during pre-operative and operative procedures
• Scanning patients for procedures using iTero scanner, pre- and post-op work, crowns and bridges
• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
• Providing post-operative instructions to patients
• Following up with patients to ensure the highest level of satisfaction
• Understanding each phase of our Airway, Invisalign and general dentistry treatments
• Placing temporary crowns, attachments, buttons, and fixed expanders
• Creating, managing, coordinating, and following up with online scheduling, consults, and virtual appointments
• Cleaning suction traps, running cleaners in equipment, and ordering supplies
