About The Position
Preferred Search Group is partnering with a well-known dental practice in Irving,TX to find a Dental Assistant. This is a full-time position paying $20-25/hour plus benefits. This position can be 5 days per week or four 10 hour shifts per week. Employees will work 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Radiology certificate
- Minimum of two years of dental assisting experience required
- Willingness to learn and an upbeat, positive personality
Nice To Haves
- Oral surgery experience a plus!
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain client’s dental records
- Chart in Dentrix
- Perform routine dental cleanings and assist the dentist with complex dental procedures
- Take and process X-rays of patients
- Schedule patient appointments
- Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
