Brattleboro Dental Health is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join their warm, collaborative team in Brattleboro, Vermont. The practice is willing to train the right person if they have their Dental Assistant license or certification and a strong desire to learn.
Requirements
- Current Dental Assistant license or certification required
- Radiology/x-ray and CPR certification required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A positive attitude and genuine commitment to patient care
Nice To Haves
- Previous dental assisting experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate
- Willingness to learn, grow, and be part of a team-oriented practice
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside support during dental procedures while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain equipment for smooth daily operations
- Take and process diagnostic-quality x-rays
- Educate patients on procedures, aftercare, and oral hygiene instructions
- Assist with maintaining an organized, efficient, and welcoming clinical environment
- Work closely with the team to create a positive patient experience from start to finish
