About The Position

The Dental Assistant assists in the care of patients receiving dental treatment. The Dental Assistant is responsible for managing treatment rooms, providing patient instruction, completing administrative services and instrument sterilization. Provides safe and appropriate care in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED
• 6 months dental assisting experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program OR minimum of 6 months experience working as a dental assistant in a dental practice
• 2 years dental assisting experience with CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) Certification
• CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) Certification or equivalent
