About The Position

42 North Dental is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant at Great Lakes Family Dental in Tecumseh, Michigan. The Dental Assistant provides clinical support that facilitates the relationship between patients and dentists, improves the efficiency of quality dental care, and maintains communication among dentists, patients, and administrative staff to help ensure a positive patient experience. The position calls for strong verbal skills and a positive, team-oriented approach to patient care.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide postoperative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, break down, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain strict compliance with infection-control requirements, CDC and OSHA guidance, and HIPAA.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, recognizing that the providers assisted may change based on practice needs.
