Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Dental Assistant experience preferred
- Certification as a Level II Dental Assistant
- HARP and CPR certification required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Comfort using dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Evening and weekend availability
Nice To Haves
- IPAC and WHMIS certification considered an asset
- iTero scanning experience considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures
- Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records
- Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication
- Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment
- Assist with procedures including implants, extractions, bone grafts, and root canals
