About The Position
Bright Now! Dental supported by Smile Brands is seeking an experienced part time Dental Assistant to join our team in Herndon, VA. We are looking for a dependable, patient-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced dental environment and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
Requirements
- Radiology
- RDA certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
- Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Follow infection control and OSHA protocols
- Support the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations
