We're looking for an experienced, certified Dental Assistant II to join our Mocksville team — someone confident in advanced procedures, energized by working with skilled providers, and ready to grow alongside us. This is a full-time chairside position supporting a busy, multi-modality practice. You'll work directly with our doctors on a wide range of procedures — assisting confidently, anticipating needs, and helping deliver the kind of patient experience our community has come to expect.

Requirements

  • Active DA II credentials with NC X-ray certification (required)
  • Nitrous oxide certification (required)
  • Hands-on experience with implants, oral surgery, and endodontic procedures
  • Completion of dental assistant training or equivalent qualification.
  • X-ray certification and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain treatment plans and insurance information to patients.
  • Ability to work independently with good judgment and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and travel to multiple office locations if required.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Invisalign and iTero strongly preferred

  • Preferred experience of 2-5 years as a Dental Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Assist chairside with implants, surgeries, endodontic procedures, and restorative dentistry
  • Work with modern technology including iTero scanners, digital imaging, and AI-supported tools
  • Support Invisalign cases from scan through delivery, in partnership with the doctor
  • Take and process digital X-rays with strong attention to quality and efficiency
  • Administer and monitor nitrous oxide in accordance with state requirements and protocols
  • Prepare operatories and instruments with high standards for sterilization and infection control
  • Build trust with patients by communicating clearly, calming nerves, and creating a welcoming experience
