The Dental Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and hygienists, ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic, and delivering exceptional patient experiences. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to patient care.
Requirements
- Dental Assistant certification.
- X-ray certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in dental procedures and instrument handling
- Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
- A compassionate approach to patient care and comfort
Responsibilities
- Support the dentist during procedures, managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment
- Capture dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols
- Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options
- Accurately update patient records and dental charts in EHR systems
- Strictly follow sterilization and disinfection protocols
- Help manage and confirm patient appointments
- Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support
