About The Position

Central Florida Periodontics & Implantology is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide hands-on, patient-centered care in a warm, welcoming environment. The role supports the doctor during procedures, helps prepare the operatory and clinical equipment, and contributes to a calm, comfortable patient experience. The practice emphasizes clinical excellence, collaboration, communication, and professional growth. Pay is $26–$28 per hour. New hires must pass a full-panel drug screening as a condition of employment.

Requirements

• Dental assisting certification or qualifying experience.
• At least 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience.
• X-ray certification.
• CPR certification.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
• 3–5 years of experience in oral surgery or a periodontic practice.

Responsibilities

• Support the doctor chairside during procedures.
• Take radiographs and assist with impressions.
• Set up operatory equipment.
• Provide a calm and comfortable environment for patients.
