As a Dental Assistant at Evara Health, you play an essential role in delivering high-quality care by providing chairside assistance to dentists, residents, and students across a wide range of procedures including operative, preventive, periodontal, endodontic, prosthetic, and oral surgery services. You will ensure the delivery of safe, aseptic dental care by maintaining a clean and sterile clinical environment, following strict infection control protocols, and properly preparing, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments and equipment. You will support efficient and effective care by performing expanded duties such as fabricating temporary crowns and bridges, applying sealants and fluoride, taking impressions, coronal polishing, placing and removing matrices and gingival retraction devices, removing sutures, placing temporary restorations, and capturing diagnostic radiographs. You will foster a welcoming and supportive environment by clearly explaining procedures, assisting with treatment plan discussions, and ensuring patients and their families feel informed, comfortable, and respected throughout their visit. You will assist in scheduling and managing patient appointments in alignment with treatment plans, helping to ensure smooth patient flow and timely access to care. You will maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic health records (EHR), ensure completion of patient forms and consent documentation, and support overall clinic efficiency through strong organizational skills. You will work closely with dental providers, hygienists, and administrative staff to support seamless care delivery, stepping in to assist front office functions and patient coordination as needed. You will participate in monthly inventory processes and help manage dental supplies and materials to ensure clinics remain fully equipped to serve patients without interruption.
