About The Position
Join Spectrum Healthcare Resources in an exciting opportunity for a civilian Dental Assistant at Naval Hospital Great Lakes in Waukegan, IL. Requirements
- Hold a Certificate or Associate Degree in dental assisting, obtained from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA), with at least 12 months of experience within the last 36 months.
- Possess certification from a military dental technician or dental assistant school, coupled with 12 months of experience within the preceding 36 months.
- Must have 3 years experience and provide Letter from Current Employer's HR with list of job duties to include Dental Radiography.
- Be certified in radiography, with comprehensive training covering radiation physics, biology, health, safety, and protection, as well as digital radiographic processing techniques.
- Demonstrate 1 year of Full-Time experience as a Dental Assistant post-graduation.
- Demonstrate 3 years of Full-Time experience if trained in dental office.
- Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
