Requirements
- Dental Assistant experience preferred.
- Current Dental Assistant certification (if required by Connecticut).
- X-ray certification required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Open Dental is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures.
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures.
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
- Ensure operatories are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Help create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient.
