About The Position

Dental Nook - Northgate is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow alongside a modern, high-performing dental practice. While a minimum of one year of dental experience is preferred but not required, we are willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, takes pride in providing outstanding patient care, has excellent attendance, is dependable, organized, and follows systems consistently. Requirements

Minimum of one year of dental experience is preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

Experience taking a full-mouth series (FMX) in under 5 minutes.
Experience taking high-quality orthodontic photos using a professional camera.
Experience assisting with a wide variety of procedures, including: Fillings, Crowns, Root canals, Extractions, Wisdom teeth, Implant placement, Invisalign, Sealants, Pulpotomies.
Experience independently placing sealants using DryShield.
Experience polishing teeth, flossing, and providing oral hygiene instructions (OHI).
Experience fabricating temporary crowns.

Responsibilities

Taking a full-mouth series (FMX) in under 5 minutes.
Taking high-quality orthodontic photos using a professional camera.
Assisting with a wide variety of procedures, including: Fillings, Crowns, Root canals, Extractions, Wisdom teeth, Implant placement, Invisalign, Sealants, Pulpotomies.
Independently placing sealants using DryShield.
Polishing teeth, flossing, and providing oral hygiene instructions (OHI).
Fabricating temporary crowns or willingness to learn.
Maintaining sterilization and laboratory areas.
Keeping operatories clean and organized throughout the day.
Completing assigned cleaning checklists.
Participating in monthly deep-cleaning projects, including: Autoclaves, Ultrasonic cleaners, Treatment rooms, Break room, Floors and common areas.
