Dental Assistant
About The Position
Golden Hills Family Dental is looking for an experienced, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, assisting the doctor during procedures, taking digital radiographs, capturing iTero digital scans, assisting with Invisalign treatment workflows, supporting same-day dentistry using CEREC technology, educating patients, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience
- Current Dental Assistant Certification
- Current California X-Ray License (required)
- Experience with iTero digital scanning
- Experience assisting with Invisalign cases
- Experience with CEREC restorations
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding patient care
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft practice management software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
- Take high-quality digital radiographs
- Capture accurate iTero digital scans
- Assist with Invisalign treatment workflows
- Support same-day dentistry using CEREC technology
- Educate patients before and after treatment
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit
