About The Position
NiteLines USA, established in 1994, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join their team. The company has a successful track record of delivering contract support services to government institutions and medical treatment facilities nationwide. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated and caring organization. The position is located at the Federal Correctional Institute in Bruceton Mills, WV, within a federal correctional environment. Safety is ensured with the presence of security and a dentist.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Shall possess specialty training from a licensed dentist and/or certification from an accredited Dental Assistant program.
- Training must include dental radiology and radiology safety.
- Be certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Assists Dentist in dental specialty sections: restorative, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthetics, and examinations.
- Dental prophylaxis.
- Performs procedures pursuant to fabrication and repair of complete denture prosthesis and removable partial prosthesis.
- Maintains proper infection control procedures in radiographic techniques.
- Places and finishes dental restorations, including bases and liners.
- Make primary impressions and pours casts.
