About The Position

The Dental Assistant provides primarily four-handed chair-side dental assistance, supporting dentists and dental hygienists in the direct provision of primary care dental services to health center patients. The role also involves preparing and positioning patients, preparing clinical areas, using sterile techniques, performing infection-control procedures, and managing inventory of dental instruments and supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid CPR and/or BLS certification.
• Bilingual English and Spanish language skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year of dental assisting experience; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide four-handed chair-side dental assistance to dentists and dental hygienists.
• Assist in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients.
