About The Position

We are seeking a Dental Assistant with an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and dental knowledge and experience. This is a full-time position in a state-of-the-art modern dental practice located in Naples, FL. As a Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of the care team, providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Requirements

Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
Dental knowledge and experience working as a Dental Assistant.
X-Ray certified in the state of FL.
Hands-on dental assisting experience.
Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation).
X-Ray certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Nice To Haves

Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
