Requirements

• Dental Assisting Certification AL from an accredited school
• High school diploma or equivalent
• X-ray Certification (or ability to obtain promptly)
• Compassionate, strong attention to detail, warm demeanor, and a love for working with others
• A team player who’s ready to jump in, help, and make patients feel at ease

Nice To Haves

• Coronal polishing and Nitrous Oxide certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic chair-side support to the Dentist and Hygienists, including charting and patient education.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and maintain a welcoming, efficient operatory.
• Take and process X-rays.
• Maintain accurate records and treatment plans per Dentist’s instructions.
• Keep operatories and equipment clean and sterilized.
• Track and prepare lab cases in advance of daily schedules.
• Enter treatment plans, present simple treatment plans to patients, write doctor’s notes into the patient’s chart, and collect chairside payments.
