Randolph & Associates Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team of dental professionals in Bloomington, IL! Requirements

2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant
Knowledge of dentistry, particularly dental procedures, instruments, and hygiene
Experience administering dental X-rays
Technical skills and proficiency with dental, scheduling, office, and other software
Customer service and communication skills to ensure patients feel comfortable during appointments
Organizational and multi-tasking skills, general office aptitude
Excellent verbal communication skills
Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
Current CPR certification required

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments, and ensure necessary equipment is ready for dentists
Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
Take and process X-rays of patients
Process lab work for the dentist
Greet patients as they arrive for appointments
Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
Update and maintain dental records
Handle general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental clinic
