Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Radiography certification required
- CPR certification required
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a patient-first mindset
- Professional, calm, and team-oriented approach
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a dental assisting program (preferred)
- 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred, ideally in a surgical or periodontal setting
Responsibilities
- Create a warm and welcoming experience for every patient
- Assist chairside during periodontal and implant procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA-compliant workflows
- Take and process digital dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment expectations, and post-operative care
- Maintain organized treatment areas and support inventory management
- Document patient care accurately and support smooth daily clinical flow
