Pediatric Dentistry of CenLA is looking to hire a Dental Assistant who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Pediatric Dental field. Our pediatric dental office is searching for a Pediatric Dental Assistant who loves working with kids and wants to be part of a positive, well-organized team. • Graduated from an accredited dental assisting program.

• Previous Pediatric experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during generalized pediatric dental procedures.
• Take, expose, and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).
• Provide hygiene and diet education.
• Schedule follow-up exams.
• Review schedules to ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately.
• Set up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.
• Conduct parent consults and discuss treatment plans.
• Clean and sterilize instruments.
• Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization areas.
• Maintain infection control and OSHA guidelines.
• Participate in marketing endeavors.
• Write letters to be sent to referrals.
