About The Position
McMurtrey Endodontics is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Assistant to support providers during treatment, deliver outstanding patient care, and contribute to the practice’s efficiency. The practice is patient-care centered and emphasizes kindness and compassion in every patient interaction. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; the schedule may change as needs arise. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dental Radiology Certification required.
- Dental assisting experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide chair-side clinical support to doctors, including assisting, charting, patient education, and operatory setup and cleanup.
- Deliver a superior patient experience throughout each appointment.
- Take dental X-rays.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
- Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Ensure infection-control protocols are followed, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with workplace regulations.
