About The Position

The purpose of this job is to support the delivery of safe, high-quality dental care and positive patient outcomes. The Dental Assistant assists with clinical procedures, maintains infection control standards, ensures equipment is properly sterilised, and keeps treatment rooms clean, organised, and ready for patient care.

Requirements

• Demonstrated chair-side assistance skills, including instrument handling, suction, mixing materials, assisting with X-rays, and sound knowledge of dental instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of infection control, with the ability to clean, prepare, and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment in line with BDC procedures and WHS requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, patient-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, modern, high-volume dental practice while contributing positively to a supportive team culture.
• Working with Children Check permit is required as part of our mandatory background check screening process.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting is highly regarded
