Requirements
- Current Radiology (X-ray) Certification required (must be obtained through an accredited program).
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, dependable, punctual and professional with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and creating a positive patient experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA, CDC infection control guidelines, and dental office procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during examinations and dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms before each patient and properly clean and sterilize instruments and rooms after use.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) (Current Radiology Certification Required).
- Provide exceptional patient care and educate patients on oral health and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain infection control protocols and comply with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Accurately document patient information and assist with charting as needed.
- Schedule appointments and assist with other front office and administrative duties when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide an outstanding patient experience.
