About The Position
Smiles International, a prosthodontic practice with two locations in McLean, VA and NW Washington, DC, is seeking a full-time certified dental assistant. The practice values its employees, with most having been with the company for 10 or more years. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, enjoys challenges, and is eager to improve their skills daily. The office provides a clean, fresh, and stimulating working environment. This is a fee-for-service practice, and the assistant will travel to each office with their doctor.
Requirements
- Full-time availability
- Certified Dental Assistant
- X-ray certification
- DC dental assistants license or ability to obtain one
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter

- Solution-oriented individual
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience
- Prosthodontic or surgical experience with implants
- Familiarity with Denticon software
Responsibilities
- Assist with implant surgeries and restoring implants
- Fabricate custom temporary crowns and bridges
- Understand the prosthodontic work flow
- Operate a digital scanner/CBCT
- Travel between two office locations with the doctor
