About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The Dental Assistant will work alongside the dentist to provide quality patient care and assist with dental procedures. We are looking for a Dental Assistant who is passionate about oral health, dedicated to patient care, and a team player. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Nice To Haves
- completion of a dental assistant program is a plus
- X-ray certification preferred
- CPR certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices
- Maintain patient records accurately
