About The Position
White Family Dental is seeking experienced, full-time Dental Assistants to join their busy, multi-doctor, high-tech dental office. The Dental Assistant is an integral member of the team, contributing to a clinically led culture by supporting the doctor, connecting with patients, and ensuring the best patient experience. The practice focuses on caring for the whole person, aiming to help patients live happier, healthier, and more comfortable lives with beautiful smiles.
Requirements
- Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
- X-ray certification where state regulations specify
- Excellent patient skills
- Enjoy being a team player
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
