About The Position
Dentistry for Health New York is seeking a motivated, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join their friendly private practice team in New York City. This role is for an experienced Dental Assistant looking for a practice where they will be valued and enjoy coming to work each day. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
- Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Welcome, seat, and help patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.
- Take and maintain accurate patient records and clinical charting.
- Maintain OSHA and infection control standards through proper sterilization and operatory turnover.
- Take intraoral photographs (experience is a plus).
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.
