About The Position
Golden Peak Dental is looking for a part-time Dental Assistant to join our team in Lakewood, Colorado. This is a great role for a Dental Assistant who wants a consistent two-day schedule, competitive pay, and the chance to be part of a friendly, patient-focused dental practice. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable chairside, and ready to help patients feel cared for from the moment they sit down. Requirements
- Dental Assistant experience preferred
- Strong chairside assisting skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Comfortable working in a busy dental practice
- Friendly, professional communication
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Team-first attitude
- Commitment to patient comfort and quality care
Nice To Haves
- X-ray certification or training preferred
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient care
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection control standards
- Assist the doctor during dental procedures
- Take x-rays and intraoral photos as needed
- Support patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
- Provide patient education and post-operative instructions
- Complete dental charting and clinical documentation accurately
- Help maintain clean, stocked, and organized operatories
- Support lab tasks as needed, such as impressions, models, or temporary crowns
- Communicate clearly with the doctor, team members, and patients
- Pitch in where needed to support a smooth patient experience
